England-based Donaldsons has been part-owner of NCM Donaldsons since 2004. Donaldsons was acquired by the DTZ group in the summer of 2007. NCM Donaldsons and DTZ have now chosen to go their separate ways. This means that the MD of NCM, Lars Toll, has acquired DTZ’s share-holding. The other owners of NCM are, as previously, Gunnar Hjorth, Christer Larsson, Folke Klint and Bert Larsson.
With this change in ownership, NCM Donaldsons AB will change its name to Nordic Center Management AB (with the same organisation number as previously, 556550-2266), but the company will be marketing itself under the name of NCM Development. This change will come into effect from 30 June 2009. The company’s Norwegian subsidiary based in Oslo will change its name from NCM Donaldsons AS to NCM Development AS.
We have also acquired new e-mail addresses with the format firstname.surname@ncmd.se and firstname.surname@ncmd.no respectively, and these will come into effect as of now.
Today NCM Development comprises around 40 staff members in Sweden and Norway who are actively engaged in about 60 assignments within asset management, investigation, development, rental and transactions.

The jury’s reasoning:The shopping centre Strömpilen made the residents of Umeå adopt new ways of thinking with their project “No plastic bags”, which was started in 2008. Strömpilen is the first Swedish retail venue to have stopped using plastic bags in order to make shoppers use.
